I so wanted my overnight guests to see the breathtaking red streaks of sunrise. If they were up early enough nautical twilight, combine blues and pinks and red orange. They parked their camper, windshield to the ocean, they should have been able to watch stars from their bed and watch the sunrise from bed, and this is what we wake up to? How unfortunate, heavy fog, the other quality of being on the ocean

@ijk64 Oh, I do so much better here. Three things have changed in 40 years: They changed highway lights to LED which add some light pollution but they are half-mile apart and far away. Then a hurricane hit us, and knocked out trees so we can see porch lights across the harbour, and one weekend warrior leaves 24/7 search lights on his boat that reflect and brighten the whole harbour. BUT, we took bedrolls and watched Perseid Meteor shower a few weeks ago, saw every star and meteor. Almost nightly
