Recently, I've been hearing people who started in Helpdesk, who saw me change to Security, and did it themselves.
This is an incredible honor, but also proves how important sharing your path is. For so long I was embarrassed. I had internalized I was some lesser professional.
I was wrong. And now I've moved over, I see directly how critical this line of "hey that's weird" early detection and proactively addressing issues is, when it's missing.
