@cautionwip regex?
@ijk64 @cautionwip Definitely multiple operators but have to keep it simple for non-tech people.
@chrisjeter @ijk64 Also for minimally tech people. I'm reasonably good with most IT from a high-level usage perspective, but Regex leaves me numb.
@cautionwip @ijk64 Give me a cheat sheet and I can do *simple* stuff in regex.
But have to keep it dead simple for the much bigger normie population. Ideally, should have basic operators for the average person *and* complex operations for techies.
@chrisjeter @ijk64 If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating a lot more horsemeat. :) Back when I was doing a bit of admin (low-level stuff) I used to laboriously build regexps and then save them on a cheat sheet, since there was no way I'd ever remember them.
@cautionwip @ijk64 Oh, yeah. Always kept notes to remember how I did stuff. :)
@ijk64 I would select "other" and then leave a reply supporting it (as you did!). While I support regex as an option, and understand your desire, IMO it's not as simple and straightforward (and tbh universally understood) as a simple "and" operator. ROI is much higher, I think and I'm trying to propose more "bang for the buck" options to get buy-in from developers. :)
