I wrote a blog post giving an introduction to the PNG file format, aimed at anyone who wants to generate or parse their own PNGs (or who just wants to know how it works!)

Moved a 2FA key from Authy to Keychain.

• associated with the credentials, making it easier to manage (some may consider this a security flaw):
✅ Keychain ❌ Authy ❌ Google Authenticator

• when logging in, it’s suggested automatically

• syncs across devices

So I like to cook, and I like rummaging in corporate mail spools…

Altho Enron seems more culinary than HBGary and Stratfor, poor showing nerds.

A great (and timely) update to the classic escalator chart by my colleague @RARohde@twitter.com.

It’s just a bit sad we have to have all the same arguments a decade later…

If it is not literally the warmest year ever, someone will complain that global warming has stopped.

Year-to-year fluctuations are a normal part of the ongoing global warming trend. Don't be distracted by the noise.

"Can you explain this 5 year gap?"

"Yes, people kept asking about the 1 year gap instead of letting me work. This continued for some time."

I went to the Adventure Aquarium today over in Camden and saw a Mata-Mata Turtle. It legit looked like it was straight out of a Kaiju movie. Its back had vertical moss spots that looked like tiny little pine trees growing on a hillside. I could imagine it being hundreds of feet wide and happily nestled into a series of mountains.

My mind is blown that this occurs in nature. Especially to what appears to be an adult bird.

Who knew birds could stall? Or rather textbook stall ➡️ wing drop ➡️ spin ➡️ crash. I can’t stop watching it.
